2003 Jocelyn Napa Valley Zinfandel Port

Winemaker Tasting Notes:
The grapes for this Zinfandel are sourced from a small Napa Valley vineyard located in the heart of the valley within the city limits of St. Helena. The sugar at harvest was 29 degrees Brix with 10% residual sugar in the finished wine. Enticing flavors of blackberry and cassis with notes of chocolate all contribute to making this an ideal after dinner wine or dessert.

Vintage:
2003 weather conditions during the growing cycle were ideal. Although Spring rains lasted until May, the summer weather was warm and constant into late October giving grapes a long, steady growing season in which to develop full, complex and ripe flavors.
