In late 2005, a wine seller we know sent us 2 bottles of the Jocelyn 2002 Cabernet and he said it would blow us away. We opened the first one, as luck would have it, just 10 days before a trip to the valley with friends. He was right. We were blown away and immediately got on the phone to see if we could visit.
Along with our friends Jayne and Stephen, we made our way up Atlas Peak Road and arrived at the vineyard. There was Brandi, waiting for us in the drive, with baby Brit in her arms and Noah holding on to her leg. She welcomed us and led us to the tasting area overlooking the vineyard. We found out we were among the first to visit and spent a long and relaxing time tasting and falling in love with the wines, getting to know Susan, Brandi and the kids and generally having the best time imaginable.
We have made it our mission to spread the word about Jocelyn Lonen to every person we know who loves wine - and to make sure that we never run out. After an even more terrific time at the 2006 Summer Party, meeting Gabe, Jamey and other friends and family, getting to know like-minded folk and strengthening our ties, we are even more committed to the mission (and also committed to traveling to the party each Summer!).
The real joy of wine is the people involved and there are none better than those connected to Jocelyn Lonen. Every time we take a sip, we think how lucky we are to be a part of their world and are transported back to Atlas Peak. - Rob & Genny Wert

My husband Andy and I are long-time members of the Jocelyn-Lonen fan club, and charter members of the wine club as well. Although we live in Monterey in a region dubbed by the Wine Spectator as "the next Napa Valley ," we still enjoy drinking wines from all over the world, including other parts of California . Brandi's offerings are among the best.
Andy and I both worked at Hewlett-Packard for the greater part of our careers-coincidently for me, at the same time Susan Curtis and her husband Lon worked there. We knew each other well inside and outside of the office environment.
We often got together for dinner, which was how my nephew Gabriel met Brandi. Both Brandi and Gabe had other "honeys" in their lives, so we didn't anticipate the lovely ending that all of us now enjoy. Or perhaps I should say the lovely beginning. The two were married two years after introduction. Live long and prosper, tous les deux-et tes enfants aussi. - Jan Stambaugh

We continue to enjoy your wonderful wines as members of the wine club or orders from our local wine shop. We were introduced to your wine in the Summer of 2004 at a small wine bar in Southern California. Carol loved your Chardonnay. It had that classic Napa taste which she loves. From our wine shop The Broadway in Eugene, Oregon we found out you were a Duck of the University or Oregon and that
makes it even better. This past Summer
while celebrating our 30th anniversary we visited
the Napa area and your wonderful winery. You were a
wonderful host. So welcoming to two wandering
Ducks. Not only a wine tasting but a walk in the
garden and talk about wine, your life and the
University of Oregon. I loved your 2003 Napa Valley
Cabernet Sauvingnon. So rich in that Napa Cab.
tradition. Carol was introduced to your 2005 Russian
River Valley Chardonnay Reserve. The 2004 Zinfandel
Port has been a welcomed relief to these 20
something degree nights here in Oregon. When we drink wine, we enjoy the tastes and think
of the people behind each sip. We feel a part of
your life and hard work. Please continue to produce
fine quality Napa wine. - All the best, Peter and Carol Schull from Springfield, Oregon

Carol and I began our Jocelyn journey when we met Susan and Brandi at our Club's Wine and Food Faire in November of 2005. From the very beginning we could tell they were caring and passionate about people and their wines. At this event we purchased our first case of 2002 Jocelyn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
We soon ran short of Jocelyn wine and visited their Atlas Peak property which I can only describe as awe inspiring and truly a little piece of Heaven. This was when we became true Jocelyn converts and evangelizers. Not only are we Wine Club members but also our two daughter's and son-in-laws have since joined along with numerous friends who are (self proclaimed) wine aficionados.
We look forward to our frequent Napa visits and the beautiful, however winding 8.5 mile trip to the top of Atlas Peak for our little piece of Jocelyn Heaven. - Greg Brott

The Nall Family's connection to Jocelyn Lonen Wines began with a partnership between Jocelyn and the Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research. After the death of founder Lon Curtis from brain cancer in 2004, the winery began selling a special wine of which 70% of the proceeds went to Musella. Carol and Rick Nall purchased wine through this program and shared their inspiring story with us. Rick is a two year glioblastoma survivor with no signs of the cancer returning. Glioblastoma is the most aggressive type of brain cancer and the survival rate is less than one percent. It was very exciting for us to hear about someone who is beating the odds against this disease. Rick Nall is a true inspiration for those whose lives have been affected by brain cancer. - The Nall Family

Mike and I met Susan and Lon Curtis in June 1995, in Bordeaux, France. A special friendship was born over wonderful French meals, picnics in the vineyards, wine tasting and spitting, much laughter and good conversation.
We celebrated with Susan and Lon as they followed their dream of starting a winery and were so saddened by Lon's illness and death. We loved Lon's humor, his charm, his love and devotion to his family, his passion to produce quality wines, his generosity, spirit and character. He was a wonderful friend that we will never forget.
We feel very close to Jocelyn Lonen Wines, because of our friendship with Susan and Brandi. Every time we share a bottle of their wine, we realize how happy we are to know the owners and producers. We are fortunate that Jocelyn Lonen Wines are available in Florida. Our local wine store recently "hid" five cases of 2005 Jocelyn Lonen chardonnay in the vintage room. The wine steward said every time he put it on the open shelf, it disappeared as people wanted cases of it! Can you blame them?
We are thrilled by the success of Jocelyn Lonen Wines. We love to share the wines with our friends. The summer wine club events have been so much fun. Susan, Brandi and her family are very special to us. We are blessed to have them as friends. - Mike & Susan Zwer
